is a new public wiki being launched as a contributing project at TULCA 2016: ‘The Headless City’. Initiated by artist Mark Orange, the site will gather articles on themes of architecture and the built environment, specifically taking as its starting point the meanings of architecture defined by French writer Georges Bataille in his 1929 ‘Critical Dictionary’ entry on the term.

The site is now live and has been populated with an initial series of articles that give an idea of the parameters of the project. Articles can be created and edited by anyone; the site uses the same open-source wiki software that powers Wikipedia. will be maintained going forward after TULCA 2016 and continue to grow as a publicly available, editable resource.
